Prof. S.Ravi, serving as Head, Department of Library and Information Science under the school of Media and Communication, in the Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur-610 005. He has 27 years of experience in teaching. He has guided 20 Ph.D scholars and 40 MPhil scholars in Annamalai University. He has presented 40 papers and 50 articles in National and International conferences and seminars and journals. He is life member of many Library Professional Associations. Received the Certificate of Merit in appreciation of long and dedicated 25 years of services in Annamalai University by the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Annamalai University. And he received V.N.Rajasekaran Pillai Endowment Award for the "Best Teacher" in the Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University in 2009. In 2017 he received National Best Library and Information Science Teacher Award" from the Society for the Advancement of Library and Information Science at Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai. And National Best Library and Information Science Teacher Award" given by the Madras Library Association at Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai.

Dr. S. Dhanavandan, is working as Deputy Librarian at Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur-610005, India. Before joining in CUTN, he served as Assistant Librarian in The Gandhigram Rural Institute - Deemed University, Gandhigram - 624 302, Tamil Nadu. He serves more than twenty years in the LIS profession. Six Ph.D degree were awarded under his guidance. He has published more than 120 articles in National and International Journals and more than 150 papers presented and published in National and International Conferences. And also he authored more than 27 books in Library and Information Science and 50 Chapters in edited books. He has attended more than 50 Seminars/Workshops and training programmes. Three times he has received cash award (more than One Lakh) for the best articles from Konkuk University, South Korea. He served as Chairperson and resource person in many workshop and conferences and also organized workshop and conferences.
